53rd Eurovision Song Contest
The wait is over! Saturday night sees a smorgasbord of Euro talent take to the stage in the 53rd Eurovision song contest but sadly we're not tipping our very own Andy Abraham for glory in Belgrade. The former bin man is a huge 66/1 to win and 8/1 rank outsider to finish highest of the Big Four countries. Watch out for Spain, whose Dance the Chiki Chiki novelty song is so bad its good and is destined to give them their best finish for years. Russia remains the red hot 2/1 favourite going into the final and having thrown everything but the kitchen sink into his act (Olympic figure skaters, violins, chest baring), Dima Bilan will be hard to beat.
They'd do anything, it's getting tense
We are down to the last four Nancys on Id Do Anything and its turning into a battle between young and old, with teenagers Jessie and Sam taking on the slightly older (but hardly geriatric) Jodie and Rachel. Rachel is 8/13 favourite to go this week, having landed in the sing-off twice now, but with a wealth of experience behind her, I dont think she's a certainty to go if she does fall into the bottom two again. Sadly, it could be argued that the slightly more portly Jodie has a less marketable image.
Big Brother returns to our screens
Its less than a month before Big Brother returns to our screens and the ninth series is promising to be the biggest yet, with no less than sixteen housemates rumoured to be entering the house on June 5th. We are offering a whole host of special betting markets to whet your appetite ahead of the bumper thirteen-week dose of everyone's favourite reality TV show, so why not have a flutter on how many walkers there'll be this series? There were a whopping three last season, which saw Lesley, Jonathan and finally Chanelle jump ship before they were evicted and it's 4/1 for another three deserters this summer. Talking of Chanelle, she's furious that her single has been snubbed by Radio One but will this year's crop of housemates prove more talented in the music department? It's 5/1 for any of them to score a number one single this year. Paul and Helen, Sophie and Lee, Grace and Mikey, we all love a BB love story but will romance blossom again this year? It's 20/1 for two housemates to meet on the show and marry and 33/1 for a contestant to give birth.
